Role Description:
SupreoX Limited is looking for two enthusiastic Laravel Development Interns to join our team starting December 1, 2024. This internship is an excellent opportunity for aspiring developers to gain hands-on experience in building scalable web applications using Laravel. The role focuses on learning and contributing to back-end development while collaborating with the team to deliver innovative solutions for our clients. This is a practical, project-based internship designed to enhance your technical skills and understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, recording, and maintaining web-based Laravel applications.
- Collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team to create user-friendly, state-of-the-art applications.
- Ensure that HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are consistent across various web projects.
- Work on backend data services and contribute to enhancing existing data services and APIs.
- Participate in the web application development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, under the guidance of senior developers.
- Communicate effectively regarding task progress, feedback, and any technical challenges encountered.
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
- Coordinate with fellow developers and provide updates to the project manager.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Laravel development.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of Laravel and PHP development.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and REST API design.
- A strong eagerness to learn and apply SQL schema design and best coding practices.
- Basic knowledge of software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat) is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn MySQL query optimization.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for web development.
- Experience with JavaScript and front-end technologies is a plus
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required; we prefer skills over education.
Internship Period:
6 months
